Nielsen Computer & Mobile Panel is your opportunity to be a part of the research we do here at Nielsen. This panel helps understand how consumers use the Internet by studying the websites people like you go to. By simply registering and/or installing our technology, either on your computer, tablet, or smartphone, you are helping mold the future of the online world.

At Nielsen, we're all about understanding computer and mobile trends - the types of applications you use, the content you view and listen to, as well as the websites you visit on your computer, phone, tablet or other registered mobile device. Your everyday activities as a panelist will help us understand how people use their computers and mobile devices. It doesn't matter if you use your mobile device a lot or a little or how you use it, the information on your usage is important to us and a valuable contribution to our research! Plus, you will be rewarded for your participation! Active members receives installation, weekly, quarterly incentives and monthly tokens to play scratch-off or spin-the-wheel style games to earn rewards for their registered computers and mobile devices! Our app will let us know what websites you go to and how long you stay there. We do NOT collect user IDs or passwords. For more information on the type of data being collected and privacy practices, please read our Privacy & Cookie Notice

    • Your name is separated from the data, which is then combined with the data of thousands of others like you to provide insights to our clients while protecting everyone's anonymity. Your information is protected as described in our Privacy & Cookie Notice and will never be used to directly market or sell products to you.

    We combine the information that comes from our panelists with data and research tools from other sources. We use this information to perform research and to prepare reports and analyses concerning Internet audience demographics, behavior and use.

    There is no fee to join this panel. Please note that you will never need to provide credit card information or purchase anything in order to participate.

    For signing up you will receive gamification opportunities to play scratch-off or spin-the-wheel style games to earn rewards. For registering and installing our App / software on at least one device and staying connected, you will be getting a weekly and quarterly incentive, as well as tokens every month to play scratch-off or spin-the-wheel style games to earn rewards (the longer you stay in our panel, the more chances you have to win a better reward!)

    To thank you for being an active member, we offer you a points-based reward system. As long as you stay active, you will accumulate points which can be redeemed for gift vouchers.

    In order to be eligible to join, you must meet all of the following requirements:

    • Be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract.
    • Be the owner of any computer and/or mobile device onto which you authorize the software download.
    • If there are any minors within your household, you are the parent or guardian of any minor with access to the devices you are registering.
    • You agree to inform those individuals with access to your computer and/or mobile device on which the software is installed that you have agreed to join the panel, and these individuals have given you their explicit consent to be a part of the panel and to be subject to the panel membership agreement.
    • If you are installing the software at work, you have the permission to do so from your employer.

    By staying active in the panel you will receive points every week that you can redeem for gift cards and monthly tokens which you can use to play scratch-off or spin-the-wheel style games to earn rewards . The more months you are active, the more points you will earn.

    Nielsen Computer & Mobile Panel is an on-going project. Your participation in our Internet research is at your discretion. Should you ever decide to stop participating, you may do so at any time. Simply login to the Profile Management page and choose to opt-out under the "Account" section.
